Just wanted to say how well Joan and I got on during her time as Savernake PC Chairman and I was Chairman of Kennet Valley PC. We had set up a Marlborough villages PC group at Chairmen level, and she was very conscientious indeed: always ready to discuss and contribute her vast experience. Very often she had no extra pair of hands at all, it being a small Parish, but she still fought above her weight, not only for her own Parish but also more generally for our area. Thank you, Joan.
